Danny Hahlbohm is one of the most recognized contemporary creators of Christian inspired artwork. Born in Mineola, New York 1949, he started drawing since the age of 8. In 1968, he enlisted in the Armed Forces and was sent overseas. While serving for his country, Danny experienced a miracle which led him to accept the Lord and become a Christian. In 1972 he was honorably discharged and began painting for galleries and touring the US.
In 1979, he painted one of his most famous paintings, Footprints in the Sand, with the poem by Mary Stevenson. This resulted in world recognition, putting his paintings into the homes of literally millions.
Not only has Danny devoted his work to the Lord, he also has had a powerful connection with the sea. Over Danny's career, he has created many beautiful nautical and underwater images which have a strong sense of realism, power and emotion and have been displayed in galleries around the world.
