Late Famous Artist, Amy Winehouse Joins the “Forever 27 Club”
Famous artist, Amy Winehouse whose body was found in her London home over the weekend has joined the list of famous artists known as the mystical "Forever 27 Club". Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain are some of the famous artists who died at the age of 27 by self destructing themselves with excessive drinking and drugs.
Chris Herrington, Memphis Flyer music critic, says that it's a night life business which involves hard and strenuous touring. Here, business mixes partying and so it leads to the problem of drugs and booze. There is a little cluster around the age 27.
Alexis Grace, American Idol finalist, says that if a famous artist has a harsh lifestyle at the age of 27, then it holds on to him for the rest of his life.
