The auction of artwork by the finest artists of the region is going to be held at the North Shore Arts Association 2011 Live Art Auction. This auction of the artwork is an annual event and this year a Gala Preview Party will be organized on 29 July to start the proceedings.
The live artwork auction will be on August 6 and this time around, the association has also kept the option of online bidding. The artwork has been selected by a jury and there are more than 100 works of art which cover all the genres and mediums.
The Gala Party will also give the art lovers and potential buyers a chance to interact with the artists and pick out the artwork they might get interested in. Art lovers can also preview these pieces during the regular NSAA hours from 29 July to 6 August.
All the proceeds from the auction are given to the NSAA which promotes art education and appreciation in the community.
