The 2011 Fine Art & Faith Exhibit runs from February through April at the White Stone Gallery in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, featuring Christian inspired artwork by Steve Spann. The gallery, which opened in 2002 as Lime Street Gallery, represents artists who exemplify the best in contemporary fine art that has been influenced by the Christian faith.
The work represented comprises a wide diversity of styles and subject matter, with rotating exhibits as well at the gallery and off-site as well. The works of Steve Spann are currently featured at the gallery. Steve's work has been collected by rock stars, museums, galleries and senators. He denied a lucrative financial planning career to pursue his love of painting full time, and his signature large canvases, bold colors, dynamic brush strokes and passionate energy have made this career choice a huge success for him. Structure and logic are evident in the movement and flow of his works. Intelligence and emotion vie for dominance on the canvas, and each work has a profound message embedded within.
